PDP Ex-Councillors Forum Felicitates With Newly Elected PPD National Working Committee

— Describes Gov Wike as the new face of democracy

The National Coordinator of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ex-Councillors Forum, Chief Hon. Prince Weli-Wosu has felicitated with the newly elected National Working Committee (NWC) members following their emergence at the just concluded national convention of the Party.

Hon.Prince Weli-Wosu, in a statement he signed on behalf of the National leadership and the entire members of the Forum wished the National Chairman-elect , Dr Iyorchia Ayu and his team a resourceful tenure as the PDP prepares to retake power from the All Progressives Congress (APC)- led Federal Government.

“This is a positive development as we march towards 2023 and prepare to reclaim power from the APC which has taken Nigeria backwards in all aspects of our national lives as a people,” the statement read in part.

Chief Weli-Wosu equally acknowledged the sacrifices made by the Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike of Rivers State to keep the PDP united and stronger before, during and after the just concluded National Convention of the Party.

He described the Rivers State Governor as a game changer and the new face of democracy in Nigeria.

“The contributions of Governor Nyesom Wike to the sustainability and unity of our great Party and the success of the National Convention cannot be overemphasized. He is now the new face of and beautiful bride of democracy in Nigeria”,he concluded.

The National PDP Ex-Councillors Forum is an umbrella body of past Local Government legislators elected under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) across the thirty six States of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) who are still members of the PDP.
