President Buhari has mourned the loss of Alhaji Modu Sheriff, the Galadima of Borno Emirate and the father of former Governor of Borno State, Ali Sheriff.
Buhari described his in-law and father-in-law to his daughter Halima, as an illustrious son and community leader fondly loved and respected by his people in a statement released by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu.
The President urged the family of the deceased to maintain social distancing and healthy hygiene while mourning, as he prayed to almighty Allah to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.
