Saudi Arabia strengthens ties with Nigeria ahead of Saudi Africa Summit

Saudi Arabia says it is committed to strengthening ties with Nigeria ahead of the Saudi-Africa summit which is scheduled to be held in November 2023.

The Country’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel Al-Jubeir said that his country looks forward to hosting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the summit.

The Saudi Arabia Minister said that he paid homage to President Tinubu to convey the greetings of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom, Mohammed bin Salman

He told State House Correspondents after meeting with the Nigerian Leader that discussions on bilateral relations were held and that Nigeria and Saudi Arabia are cooperating closely to deal with several challenges such as climate change, issues around sustainable development goals, and combating extremism and terrorism.
