Shell Petroleum Workers Protest Over Hardship In Nigeria (Pics)
Shell Petroleum workers have gone on strike over the fuel subsidy issues and the general economic issues.
1. The fall of the Naira has affected most of the workers that have kids in schools abroad. They can’t pay for school fees
2. The fuel subsidy has increased the cost of living of all worker living in Nigeria and their salaries can’t cope with the 200% increase in cost of living
3. They are demanding that Shell increase their salaries and hazard allowance since oil price is not affected just that subsidy removal is hurting them in Nigeria
It’s affecting these “big boys” too.
So Shell Petroleum workers have gone on strike over the fuel subsidy issues and the general economic issues.
