State Congress: Adamawa APC Stakeholders zone chairmanship position to Southern zone

State Congress: Adamawa APC Stakeholders zone chairmanship position to Southern zone

In preparation to 16th October scheduled Congress of All Progressives Congress (APC), Stakeholders in Adamawa state have zoned the state chairmanship position to Southern Senatorial District.

The stakeholders in a statement signed by Engr Babachir Lawal, Sen Grace F. J. Bent,Senator Ahmed Abubakar and Senator Ishaku Clifford Elisha Abbo said the outcome is as a result of several meetings and consultations among Senior Stakeholders of the party.

The decisions according to the Statement with regards to the zoning of the offices of the State Executive Committee for the purpose of the forthcoming State Congress we’re also ratified and endorsed the office of the Secretary to Northern Senatorial District.

According to the press release said the Deputy Chairman is zoned to Central Senatorial District and the other positions have been zoned among the three (3) Senatorial Districts of the state.

“Stateholders of each Zone are to micro-zone these offices among the various LGAs of the zones.

“This zoning arrangement took cognizance of various political, religious, tribal and other diversities in the State with a view to achieving an all-inclusive State Executive Council.

“The aim is among among other considerations, to position the party in good stead to win both the Governorship and Presidential elections of 2023.

“All loyal party members are urged to work tirelesly towards the actualization of this zoning arrangement at the forthcoming State Congress of the party taking place on Saturday, 16th October 2021.” The statement read

Stakeholders who endorsed the decision are;Alh Dahiru Bobbo, Engr B.D Lawal, Senator Mohammed Mana, Senator Aishatu Dahiru (Binani), Senator Ahmed Abubakar Moallahyidi, Senator Jonathan Zwingina, Senator Ahmed Barata, Senator Abubakar Girei, Senator Elisha Abbo, Senator Grace Bent, Ambassador Fati Balla amongst others.
