…..Argue Music Mogul’s $1Billion Fortune Enhances Ability To Evade Justice

Prosecutors have submitted a detailed note to a United States’ District Court in New York, arguing that music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ nearly $1 billion personal fortune poses a flight risk.

The letter claims that Combs’ substantial wealth, dispersed across numerous bank accounts and with frequent access to up to $1 million in cash, enhances his ability to evade justice.

However, Combs’ private plane and multiple vehicles further contribute to his mobility, heightening concerns of potential flight.

In a separate but related detail, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams highlighted a troubling incident involving Combs and his associates.

The letter also includes alarming details about alleged criminal activities tied to Combs.

One incident described involves a Molotov cocktail being dropped into a convertible vehicle, reportedly as an act of retaliation by Combs and his associates.

The United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams, argues that these factors justify Combs’ detention until the trial, citing his considerable resources and potential for evasion as key reasons for his continued incarceration.

CNN reports that Sean “Diddy” Combs’ defense attorneys have proposed home detention with a $50 million bond secured by his Miami residence.

However, prosecutors argue this offer is “plainly insufficient,” citing concerns about potential violence.
