We will hold a massive protest in South East if our checkpoints are closed down – Police officers.
Some police officers have threatened to hold a massive protest in South East and South South if checkpoints are shutdown by nnamdi kanu.
Some of the officers who spoke to us anonymously claimed that the money they get from checkpoints is what they use to feed their family because they are not being paid well.
They went on to beg Nnamdi kanu not to go on with the plan order after 40 days.
“I am an officer and I’ve never killed any IPOB member. This order by kanu will affect me because they’re not paying us well..
Another policeman who spoke said;
” We are going to hold our own protest if Nnamdi kanu goes ahead with this order. How does he expect us to survive.
Finally, the last comment from a policeman during interview with our correspondence reads….
” Nnamdi kanu should look towards our direction. Without the #100 I do collect from checkpoint, my children will not go to school. He should forgive us.
