The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has announced the withdrawal of cows distribution to southeast over the celebration of Easter in Southeastern part of Nigerian.
During the MACBAN meeting conference In Abuja on Monday 6th of April, it was announced by their Leader, stating that they won’t be any distribution of cows in the southern part of the country.
While apprehended by the News media, on what reasons are they withdrawing the distribution of cows in the southeastern part of the country he stated that it is clear to them that during this time Easter celebration it is known to them that Christians don’t eat beef during the Easter Celebration, it will be wastage if cows are distributed and are not consumed.
