Wizkid Fans Behaving Like Buhari’s ‘Children’ – Seun Kuti
Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti on Saturday bashed fans of popular singer, Wizkid and compared them to supporters of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.)
Seun had been trolled by Wizkid’s fans for saying that only four Nigerians have been nominated by the Grammys – himself, Femi Kuti, King Sunny Ade and Burna Boy.
Speaking on his Instagram Live, Seun maintained that fans of Wizkid were giving the latter a bad name.
Wizkid had during the week showed off his Grammy award for his feature on Beyonce’s Brown Skin Girl video

Seun while speaking said, “The only way you know how to exercise your freedom, as Nigerian youths is ‘I don’t want to know and I don’t care.’ I’m not generalising. This is for the ones who are facing me; you so-called Wizkid FC.
“You’re actually Buhari’s children. You’re spoiling Wizkid’s name oh. You have to stop bearing Wizkid FC. But there’s hope for you. By the time we finish this conversation, there will be hope for you. Let’s see whether you can change.”
He added, “But right now, you are Buhari’s children disguising as Wizkid FC; trying to spoil the poor boy’s name all over the world.
“Only 3000 of you giving 10 million fans a bad name. Shame on you. Shame on WizKid FC right now.”
