World Cup: Super Falcons will surpass previous achievements – Captain Ebi

Super Falcons captain, Onome Ebi has once again reiterated the team’s desire to put up a respectable outing at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The nine-time African champions are among the 32 teams that will compete for honours at the quadrennial competition that will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

Randy Waldrum’s side will face Canada, Australia and Republic of Ireland in Group B.

The Super Falcons made it to the Round of 16 four years ago in France where they were eliminated by Germany.

Ebi, who will be making her sixth appearance at the World Cup, is confident the West Africans will surpass their previous achievement in the competition.
