2 Suspected Thugs Disrupting APC Rally In Rivers Arrested
Rivers State Police command have arrested two suspected thugs disrupting campaign rallies in the State.
The Public Relations Officer of the Command, Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed this in a chat with newsmen in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
According to the report, the thugs, in their numbers stormed the venue of the All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign rally in Eleme Local Government Area of the State on Tuesday, with the sole aim of causing chaos, but ran out of luck when two of them, who were apprehended by the police.
The suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for discrete investigation, Iringe-Koko said
The police also displayed arms and ammunition recovered from the suspects by security personnel deployed at the venue of the APC campaign rally. Continue reading
