2023: Senator Victor Umeh Meets Labour Party Ward, LG And State Executives

The Labour Party Senatorial Candidate in Anambra Central, Senator Dr. Victor Umeh OFR on 29th of September met with the major State, Local Government and Ward Executives of the Party to brainstorm on the best ways to ensure that the Labour Party structure is formidable in the 109 Wards in Anambra Central and to ensure that the Party wins convincingly and secures the Votes in the coming 2023 General Elections.

Speaking during the Meeting, Senator Victor Umeh commended the State Chairman of the Party, Mr Ugochukwu Emeh and his Team, as well as the Local Government and Ward Leaders of the Party for their efforts and sacrifice in maintaining the Party’s structure in their respective level of engagement therefore assured them that the oncoming political dispensation will entrench glorious days for the Labour Party.

He charged the Party Leaders to collaborate with Members of the OBIdient Movement in further enlightening people at the grassroots on the need to vote and how to vote for the Labour Party in all the forthcoming Elections.

Senator Umeh further stressed the need for the Party faithfuls to passionately and selflessly show commitment to wining every polling booth for the Party in all the Elections without compromise pointing out that with *Mr Peter Obi* elected President of Nigeria and himself elected Senator in Anambra Central alongside other National and State Assembly Candidates, Nigerians will experience a new dawn and the Party will become prominent amongst other political parties in Nigeria.

On the other hand, the State Chairman of the Labour Party, Mr Ugochukwu Emeh as well as other speakers in the Event extolled the Senator Victor Umeh for his outstanding support and commitment to the progress of the Labour Party and advancing the cause of ensuring that Mr Peter Obi and the Labour Party Candidates succeed in the 2023 General Elections thereby vowed to leave no stone unturned in galvanizing all the voters in Anambra Central and beyond for a resounding victory for the Party and all her Candidates.

They also expressed confidence that Senator Umeh owing to his antecedents in the 8th Senate and his pedigree and wide experience, his victory in the forthcoming Anambra Central Senatorial Election is very important; to hearten the necessary support of the National Assembly for maximum perform by “President Peter Obi” and to once again, lift-up Anambra Central to admirable heights amongst other zones via his robust representation.

They reiterated that the voting pattern will be Labour Party from TOP TO BOTTOM.

Also present at the Meeting were the Labour Party Candidate for Awka North and South Federal Constituency, Prof. Lilian Oby Orogbu and her Anaocha Dunukofia and Njikoka counterpart, Hon. Chief George Ozodinobi (Ajajanze), and Labour Party Candidates for the State House of Assembly Election: Hon. Ferdinand Onwuje (Awka North Constituency), Hon. Kingsley Udemezue (Idemili North Constituency), Hon. Iloh Humphrey (Njikoka II Constituency) among others.
