ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT SAID THAT THEY ARE TO PAY ALL THE BILLS OF BOXING COACH NGOZIKA EKWELUM TREATMENT AT UNTH ENUGU.

Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo contacted Mr Tony Oli.The Chairman of Anambra state Sports Council through telephone conversation.
Mr Tony Oli made assertion that Governor Willie Obiano. The Governor of Anambra State have approved that Anambra state Government will undertake all the hospital bill for the treatment of former Africa Heavy weight Boxing champion who is responding to treatment for cancer of bladder at University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital ( UNTH )Enugu.
He also said that he have already sent some money through coach Ngozika Ekwelum wife for upkeep while waiting for other funds.
According to Mr Tony Oli the ban on inter state travel due to COVID 19 was the reason for his inability to come to Enugu to visit Ngozika Ekwelum for now.
However He assured Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo that under special circumstances, Special arrangement is on the way for Anambra state delegent emphasis ( Himself) to visit the private ward where Ngozika Ekwelum lodged at Utuku Ozalla UNTH Enugu within two weeks to report back to Gov Willie Obiano
