Coup: Fix Nigeria democracy first – Ex internatonal boxer urges Tinubu
The Nigerian ex international boxer, Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo has urged the President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu to stay away from intervening into the coup that happened in Niger Republic.
Mazi Okoronkwo in a voice message sent to Chrysora Media on Saturday, 5th August, said that Nigeria should first of all fix her democratic system so that other African countries will learn and imitate from them.
Nigeria is seen by many Western countries as the giant of Africa and as such expect more from them. Nigerian shouldn’t be talking at this moment rather Nigeria should be acting, showing the world what democracy means and its beauty, he said.
Mazi Okoronkwo is the coordinator of the Nigerian grassroot boxing talent hunt which he has be exercising mainly in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria.
