It is no longer news that ASUU has being on strike for over 7 months, most of the lecturers’ salaries have being withheld. How are they surviving? Becomes the question of the day.
Many attempt by FG and ASUU to negotiate and come to a conclusive end have been unsuccessful.
Lately, CHRYSORA MEDIA spotted a senior lecturer in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Anambra state, whom ASUU/FG frustration has pushed into frying garri to ensure that she and her family atleast eat something.
The painful part of the story as reported by CHRYSORA MEDIA is that the spotted woman has spent all she and her husband have, in carrying her husband around from hospital to hospital because he is down on stroke. Now she is left with nothing and almost at the verge of dying of hunger with her children.
In the video below the senior lecturer of Computer science in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Akwa, lamented so bitterly because of the condition of things in her life which was as a result of the strike.
