The All Progressive Congress (APC) has removed Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodinma from his position as chairman of the Edo State Governorship Primary Election Committee.

This development comes in the wake of a crisis that is now rocking the state’s party after numerous individuals emerged as candidates in the just concluded primaries overseen by Uzodinma.

According to an amended list provided by the party’s National Organizing Secretary, H.E Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR, the committee will now be chaired by the Governor of Cross Rivers state Bassey Otu, while Alh. Rabiu Suleiman will serve as Secretary.
