Truck Drivers Block Zaria Road To Protest Customs Officers’ Shooting

Truck drivers brought traffic on Zaria Road to a standstill on Saturday after a confrontation with officials of the Nigeria Customs Service.

The incident occurred at Kwanar Dawaki after customs officers reportedly shot at the tyre of a truck, forcing it to a stop.

An eyewitness stated that the shooting of the tyre led to a serious accident and injuries.
