Video Of Police Officer Fighting A Young Man While Carrying His Gun Surfaces (Video)
A disturbing video has emerged showing a Nigerian police officer armed with an AK-47 assaulting a young man in broad daylight. The footage, captured by a passerby, has quickly gone viral, raising serious concerns about police conduct.
In the video, the officer can be seen slapping the young man while trying to forcibly take him away. The officer, at one point, grabs the man’s trousers in an apparent attempt to subdue him. Throughout the altercation, the young man is seen struggling to retrieve his bag from the officer and resisting arrest, repeatedly questioning what crime he had committed.
The confrontation continues for several minutes until another officer arrives at the scene on a public bike. This officer intervenes and advises the young man to cooperate. Eventually, the young man is led away by the officers.
Initial cause of the altercation remains unclear.
