Mazi Okoronkwo expresses satisfaction as Israel Ogbodo receives certificate of participation in Lagos boxing tournament
Israel Ogbodo, one of the students discovered by Mazi comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo during the grassroot boxing talent hunting in the 17 LGAs of Enugu state, has received certificate of participation from Lagos state boxing Association.
This certificate of participation was received on Monday, 23th September. 2024. During the 9th Edition of De-Lad,s Grassroot Boxing promotion in Lagos state.
Israel Ogbodo who was discovered by Mazi Okoronkwo during his Enugu boxing talent hunt, defeated his Ogun State opponent, Opeoluwa Olukoya in BOUT NO 8. 60kg Class at indoor Hall National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos state, Nigeria on Sunday, 22nd September 2024.
Israel Ogbodo’s victory brought joy to Enugu state as the Speaker of Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Uche C. Ugwu congratulates Isreal Ogbodo of Enugu State for his victory in the under card boxing fight.
In reaction to Ogbodo’s victory, Mazi Okoronkwo expressed satisfaction, maintaining that more victories are to come from Enugu state through his students.
