Call On Lagos State Govt. To Assist Nigeria Ex Int'l Boxer Who Live Almost All His Life In Lagos

Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo Nigeria ex International Boxer call on Lagos State Governor to assist retired Boxer and Coach Jeremiah Okorodudu who live almost all his life in Lagos.
According to the report that came to ex international Boxers affairs platform, that neither the Lagos state Commissioner of youth and Sports nor the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly or Governor of Lagos State cares to asked and visit The ex international Boxers during the lockdown for Covid 19 Palliatives.
In view of the above, Lagos State Governor should have use this distress and Health condition of Jerry to demonstrate evidence of One Nigeria and promotion of Unity as preached.
Coach Jeremiah Okorodudu assistance should not only be left as burden to ex international Boxers and the Minister of Youth and Sports Development Abuja alone.
Lagos State have a role to play for the interest of One Nigeria.
Because Jerry Okorodudu have contributed to development of most Yoruba Boxers living in Lagos state.
He was on ground on charity at the grass root level in Lagos state without Lagos state salary.
It will be wrong and totally unacceptable for Government at the grass root which in his case is Lagos State to abondon him now that he is ageing.
Lagos state to abondon coach Jerry during this trial time will defeat the effort of one of Nigeria political Hero the Late Chief Awolowo(May His Soul continue to rest in Peace Amen) who preach for one Nigeria and unity on purpose and action.
We urge Lagos State Government to urgently assist Jerry Okorodudu now that He is in need of assistance since He is no more the Staff of Federal government due to that he was one of the Nigerians affected by contract staff new policy introduced to by President Buhari over all contract staff under Federal Government Payroll.
Also considering that Jeremiah Okorodudu have never got Covid 19 Palliatives from Lagos state Government.
I urge Lagos State to give Coach Jerry his own palliatives among others benefits in line with Nigeria Constitution.
Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo finally Re-appeal to Lagos state Government to offer also Covid 19 Palliatives to Nigeria ex International Boxer Jerry Okorodudu to cushion the effect of long time lockdown.
I am suprise that most of Ex international boxers in Lagos said that they never collected palliatives for Covid 19 lockdown.
