Jos killings: Sen Abbo evacuates 57 Adamawa Indigenes, students of UniJos

About fifty-seven Students studying various courses in the University of Jos, Plateau state who were caught in the web of the crisis that erupted last week are founded stranded.
The situation has compelled Mr. Ishaku Elisha Abbo, the distinguished Senator representing Adamawa Northern zone, and moved for their immediate evacuation to back to the state capital.
According to a statement by Senator Abbo said the gesture surprised many of the students who were out of foodstuffs and ran out of cash were happy seeing vehicles trumping into their accommodation arena to evacuate them.
Ishaku revealed that the evacuation became necessary after the University of Jos was closed down over civil unrest by some Youths.
Their evaluation was successful because of good coordination of the students by the President, Adamawa State Student Union Government University of Jos
He said stakeholders must intervene to rescue the good number of Adamawa state students studying at the University of Jos to avert the unforeseen circumstances by being proactive.
He revealed that the students are being evacuated in batches and many had earlier been transported and a good number of them missed the first batch.

While appreciating the gesture done to them, the students were elated to say that Senator Abbo is a man on a rescue mission to salvage the state not only saving them out of a possible danger.
Ishaku who further took to his verified Facebook account has posted that:
” I have this morning evacuated the last batch of our children schooling in Jos Plateau state who were forced to go on a compulsory break from academic activities due to the insecurity on the Plateau.
“The evacuation was meticulously organized with the support of the spokesman of the Special Task Force ( STF) Army Major Ishaku Takwa.
“Special thanks to Major General Idris the Corp Commander Armour Tanks Bauchi for providing Military surveillance totheses, young leaders.
“I pray for the end to this inhumanity among humans and God to restore our core values of Love.
“I Believe Nigeria will be great again someday.” He said
