EFCC HANDS ALISON MADUEKE'S FORFEITED BUILDING TO LAGOS GOVT AS ISOLATION CENTER

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) handed over a property forfeited by the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, to the Lagos state government to use as an Isolation center for COVID-19 patients, today May 15.

The 6-flats three-bedroom apartment and a boys quarters located on Awolowo road in Ikoyi, was handed over to the Federal government following an order of a Federal High Court in Lagos in 2017.

EFCC Zonal head in Lagos, Mohammed Rabo, who handed over the property, said this is part of the commission’s social responsibility towards the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who was on ground to receive the property, thanked the Federal government and the commission for the gesture.
