Previously, CHRYSORA MEDIA reported that Abia state govt inaugurated members of the state sports association. The inauguration which took event yesterday 15th Dec. 2020 was a step forward to achieving grassroot sports in the state.
Reacting to this develpoment in Abia state, Nigeria ex international boxer and Abia State Sports Ambassador(Boxing), Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo stated in his residence at Enugu that Abia State Government is building solid foundation for grassroot future Sports heroes that will project the good image of the state and Nigeria in general.
According to Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo the Active response from Hon commissioner of youth and sports development Abia State Chief Emeka Ikwuagwu and the Director of Sport to Boxing Development, Isaac O Isaac and other Sports Associations in Abia State will produce immediate results .
Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo appeal to the newly inaugurated Sports Associations to strive harder to support their Technical team in making sure that selected sports male and female are placed in a camp with good welfare during preparation for National sporting event.
