According to Floyd's Autopsy Report, See The Cause Of His Death

The autopsy report showing the real cause of American, George Floyd’s death in Minnesota has been revealed.

Floyd, an unarmed 46-year-old American man died on May 25, 2020, at the hands of a White police officer in Minneapolis.

So far, the officer who was seen in the viral video with his knee on Floyd’s neck has been charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter which some blacks and protesters believe are not harsh enough for the crime.
Many cities in the US, following the killing of Floyd have seen protests, violent demonstrations, mostly of the black race over police brutality with several US states activating National Guard troops.

The protesters are demanding an end to racism and police brutality, which has garnered the support of prominent figures.

During a news conference on Monday, two doctors hired by Floyd’s family to conduct an independent autopsy on his body declared his death a homicide.

They said the 46-year-old died from asphyxiation (lack of oxygen) after Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for more than eight minutes.

Also, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office in its own reports said Floyd died as a result of “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression,” which attributes his death to heart disease.

The report disclosed that Floyd “experienced a cardiopulmonary arrest while being restrained by law enforcement officer(s).”

It also listed “arteriosclerotic, hypertensive heart disease and intoxication of fentanyl and recent methamphetamine use as “other significant conditions.”
