Bandits demand N30m for release of abducted Abuja victims

Abductors have demanded N30m ransom before the release of seven family members kidnapped in Zuma, Bwari Central ward of the Federal Territory Capital, Abuja.

It could be recalled that bandits five days ago invaded the house of the victims, killed one person, while two policemen sustained bullet injuries in an attempt to foil the kidnap.

According to a source on Sunday, contact was established last Saturday.

He said, “The man who was negotiating with the bandits tried to explain the financial situation in the country but the bandits’ leader cut off the call abruptly.”
