After the Driver of the Vehicle conveying Gulak described the hoodlums Vehicles, Police tracked the hoodlums to Afor Enyi Ogwgu junction where they confiscated a trailer load of Onions from the North and sharing onions to the locals.
The Hoodlums on sighting the Police Opened fire and police returned Fire. 10 of the Hoodlums killed, 3 of the 4 Vehicles used by the terrorists demobilized/recovered and 7 of the terrorists with bullet wounds completely burnt down inside the Toyota Sienna and Hilux Vehicles that caught fire during the Gun battle.
3 Ak47 Rifles, 1 English Pistol, 5 Ak47 Magazines, 92 Ak47 Ammunition, Several Charms and 3 Operational Vehicles of the terrorists were recovered.
