Recall that yesterday CHRYSORA MEDIA reported that the federal government directed all accounts linked to Bitcoin to be shutdown.
Owing to this fact, Nigerians have linked it to a disguised punishment upon the youths.
Recall that somedays back, old wounds were rekindled in the hearts of many Nigeria as regards to Lekki Toll Gate shootings and killings which was exactly 100 days of occurrence.
Flashing back quickly to the EndSARS incidents, you can recall that Nigerian youths and supporters were able to raise many via bitcoin to support the progress which in turns may have led the federal govt to freezing the account of the EndSARS protesters supporters to ensure a total failure and clamp down of the EndSARS movement.
Now, another SAGA has cropped up which might again rekindle another protests against Nigerian goverment by the youths.
Quick question that demands an answer.. why is it necesary that bitcoin be banned in Nigeria?
Bitcoin has saved the lives of many youths and have contibuted to improving security in Nigeria. Let me explain. Bitcoin has engaged alot of youths towards the activities of working hard to get cool cash rather than stealing, raping or committing all source of impunity in the name of frustration and poverty. Does it mean the Nigeria government are comfortable with the level of poverty increasing day by day in the country?
Does it mean the government doesn’t have the progress of the youths at heart?
Does it mean the Nigerian youths and the way they make money have become a big threat in the economy and politics of Nigeria?

If the ban on crypto by CBN is true ehn, it points yet again to the ill informed, backward, poverty promoting dinosaurs 🦖 leading us. Use your time ⌚ to investigate and close accounts sponsoring terrorists in the country if you don't know what to do!!! GAWD 🤦🏾♂️#endsars 🚶🏾♂️

Nigeria’s foreign capital inflow is at its lowest level in 4 years at just $9.68 billion, and this is the time the CBN decides to shut down cryptocurrency? In a recession! How does this make sense? Do they think they will prevent #EndSARS part 2 by destroying Nigeria’s economy?
— Reno Omokri (@renoomokri) February 5, 2021
It just occurred to me that there might be a connection between the new CBN policy on crypto and the #EndSARS protests.

How can you shut down a money market like cryptocurrency, that brings in tens of millions of dollars into your economy at the time when you are in a recession, and need every penny you can get? @MBuhari cant stop another #EndSARS by making Nigerians even poorer#BuhariTormentor

Buhari closed Nigeria’s border and ruined thousands of businesses
Buhari closed Kano film village, costing us millions
Now, Buhari has shutdown #Crypto #BitCoin, making thousands jobless
Does @MBuhari want our economy to be like his cows that dont increase in number?#EndSARS

On CBN crypto policy:
1. When you think you only have hammers, everything is a nail. Why is CBN’s response to anything it doesn’t get (from #EndSARS to crypto) to block accounts?
2. Why don’t they engage stakeholders before issuing abrupt policies that rarely solve the problem?

It doesn't matter how many times I drive past the Lekki Toll Gate, I'll always have flashbacks of 20/10/20.
I'll always hear that guy singing the National Anthem in a broken voice with gunshots in the background.
Blood really does cry out.#EndSARS

Thank you @uzorngoladi for sending me a copy of the book #EndSars: War Against Impunity.
It is indeed a war against Impunity. A war that the people of Nigeria will win. We must keep reminding ourselves that we are stronger together!#WeMove #SoroSoke pic.twitter.com/BDheVw0q5h— Aisha Yesufu (@AishaYesufu) February 5, 2021
The Nigerian government has just legitimized a reason for security forces harassment/profiling.
