CP Orutugu Leads Crackdown on Sit-at-Home Order in Anambra, Intensifies Security Operations

In a decisive move to end the illegal sit-at-home order in Anambra State, the Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, fwc, MNIPS, PhD, has reinforced security measures with a large-scale deployment of personnel across strategic locations.
Joint security forces, including the police and other agencies, conducted intensified patrols aimed at asserting security dominance and restoring normalcy.
CP Orutugu commended Ndi Anambra and the state government for their collective stance against activities that threaten national peace. He emphasized the importance of Operation Udo Ga Chi, an initiative launched to tackle security challenges, and reaffirmed his commitment to using all necessary legal strategies, including kinetic and non-kinetic approaches, to stabilize security in the state.
