Nigeria ex international boxer Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo call on FGN to build railways to inter connect every Local Government areas in the South Eastern State of Nigeria to other State in the country to reduce the hardship to Farmers
The call is made Considering the Poor state of Roads in Abia State, Anambra State, Enugu State, Ebonyi State and Imo State Community which have made it practical impossible for Villages to transport their Agricultural produce to other Community and other state in exchange for goods.
Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo called on President Mmahumed Buhari GCFR and South Eastern State Governors Forum and all the members representing various constituency at National Assembly to strive harder to attract the construction of inter Communities railways in all the LGA in Various State of South Eastern Nigeria.
It is regrettable that the Roads construction and other development agenda in South Eastern State of Nigeria have turned to things of political compaign to win Election.
From investigation, it is discovered that the poor state of things and lack of dividends of Democracy in hitherlands of South Eastern State Nigeria added with corruption by political office holders contributed to the raise of pressure group seeking for Justice for common man.
It is regrettable that South Eastern State of Nigeria is neglected and ignore in the current project of railways by the FGN in the country.
Which does not reflect federal character in line with Nigeria Constitution.
Therefore Political office holders suppose to be sensitive to the people needs and seek every positive ways to reduce the suffering of an average Nigeria in view to promote peace and unity of Nigeria.
Nigerians should not be confused by praise singers individual that are chopping for a forum to empower themselves through political positions which acts have drag the country backwards and had contributed to many unnecessary insecurity that are painful..
As Nigeria Sports Ambassador Mazi ikechukwu Okoronkwo advise all the stakeholders to make sure that South Eastern state is included in this current construction of Railways among other dividends of Democracy for interest of Federal Character.
