Edo 2024: Another Governorship Aspirant Withdraws, Endorses Asue Ighodalo

In a surprising turn of events, Rt. Hon. Marcus Onubun, a prominent figure in Edo politics, has officially announced his withdrawal from the Edo State governorship race. Onubun, a former speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly and current federal House of Representatives member, representing Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency made his decision public at a gathering of the Edo Central PDP Special Committee.

During the meeting, held at Chief Tom Ikimi’s residence in Igueben, Onubun expressed his desire to increase the chances of Edo Central producing the next Governor.
