Ex International Boxer hails Ugwuanyi For Focusing On Road Building And maintenance

…Urges motorists to be mindful of their driving

Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo, has praised Gov Ugwuanyi, the Governor of Enugu state for his consistent efforts to ensure that roads in Enugu State are well built and maintained, and has urged all the motorists to be cautious while driving to reduce road accidents.

Addressing the newsmen in his resident in Enugu on Wednesday 9th Feb, 2022, Mazi Okoronkwo says “On my way from Alulu Nike Enugu East LGA to Aguobu-owa Community in Ezeagu LGA of Enugu State Nigeria for Grassroot Boxing talent hunt exercise going on in the 17 LGA’s of Enugu State which I am the Co ordinator, I saw serious positive Flyover road construction work going on, at T Junction Being sponsored by Enugu State Government under Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi Administration which have demostrated good faith in delivery dividends of Democracy to the general public using Nike road”

Speaking further, he said “When I saw the bad road from Abakpa Junction to New Market Fly over Enugu North LGA, We were worried about Federal presence but unexpectedly our worries were overtaken by positive new road my team saw under positive construction from Ugwu Onyeama to 9th mile being sponsored by Federal Government of Nigeria under GCFR President Buhari Administration which has demostrated that Enugu State and other South East State of Nigeria is being remembered by this administration.

Using this opportunity to advice the motorists, he said “I wish to call on motorist to drive safely while using the other side of the road to avoid unnecessary Accident. The accident I saw at Ugwu Onyeama road is very painful sight as we saw destruction of properties which I can not say the condition of the people in that truck.
