Nigeria ex International Boxer Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo frown at third tenure bid of former President of NBF.
Speaking to CHRYSORA MEDIA ex in’l boxer, Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo blows hot, displays dissatisfaction on how things are moving in NPF, totally, he objects third term tenure of the former NPF president.
In his words
“What is all this thing again.I was just reliable informed that some of our people are supporting former NBF President Retired Lieutenant General Kenneth Minimal to come back as elected President of Nigeria Boxing Federation”.
“If that is true.
My question is
Is he the only person in Nigeria”?
“Are those people aware that minimal had served two tenures as NBF President and under his regime some of Coaches and R&J members could not get sporsorship as evidenced by Cameroon trip and to make matter worst Nigeria Boxers did not go to Senegal which is another evidence of inability to protect the interest of Boxing development, which was one of ex international boxers Finding”.
“Haba!!! My question are whether Nigeria Boxing Federation is his property”.
“Why do some of us want him to come back to Third Tenure”.
“Do the people want more war in our boxing federation”.
“Mind you from our investigation it was found out that some of our people are using him to cover up their sins”.
“Anyway, I am sure of what God can do through Nigeria ex international boxers because we are independent”.
“I am very annoyed at the selfishness of some of the people who want to use Minimal to continue oppressing others”.
“I am very sure that Lieutenant General Kenneth Minimal would not want to contest but some of us will be instigating him to contest”.
“we have our reservation until after Olympics games”.
“Olympics games is what we are waiting for a review of mandate and performance of the board through the Ministry before it will get to Aso Villa. If solution is not put in place for peace and unity and progress of Boxing development”
“We will handle the matter on top at the right time”.
