…Calls for peace and unity
The Nigeria Ex int’l boxer and Abia State ambassador for sports in boxing, Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo has reacted to the lawsuit against well known former boxer , Bash Ali.
Recall that the legal team of the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare, perfected a N5 billion libel suit against former boxer, Bash Ali, after he maliciously accused the minister of wrongdoing.
On this note Mazi Okoronkwo has called for peace.
In his speech
My humble opinion and advise in the above matter is that the Hon Minister for youth and Sports development Abuja Hon Sunday Dare is trying his best for Sports Development in the Country as we witness that.
The Minister had co ordinated National sports Festival at Edo State in a successful way during this Covid Era which is a huge credit to this administration therefore there is no need for any one that love sports in Nigeria to cause distraction or otherwise as the minister is duty bound and busy preparing for Olympics Games.
Therefore Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo Nigeria Ex International Boxer is calling for peaceful settlement between Bash Ali and the Hon Minister for sports for the interest of Peace and Unity.
