Founder Of Ponzi Scheme Chinmark Has Been Arrested

An Unconfirmed source has reported that founder of failed Ponzi scheme Chinmark Group, Mr Marksman Chinedu Ijiomah has been arrested by the Nigerian Police.

A former member of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly and retired international show girl Maria Ude Nwachu made this known in a post on her verified Facebook page.

She urged investors residing in Enugu where Chinmark was arrested, to head to the State CID to confirm the arrest for themselves.

Further reports has it that Chinmark was whisked away from Chinmark Paradise where he lives by officers from State CID Enugu, who had lodged as guests for a few days before they arrested him.

The Ponzi kingpin was said to have hired over 50 thugs to keep him safe.

OC SARS, Enugu State CID is said to be in charge of the case, while Chinmark investors / Victims are advised to come to State CIDI Enugu to register their cases.

Ijiomah had collected large sums of .obey running into millions of naira from unsuspecting Nigeria, with promise of being partners in his numerous business.

His inability to make payments to investors as promised at the end of 2021, claiming his company accounts had been frozen by Federal regulatory bodies, sparked suspicion of scam, prompting investors to call on the EFCC and other Nigerian law enforcement agencies to step into the matter.

The EFCC had ignored the calls of Nigerians, but the reported suicide of an investor by name Nuella may have prompted the police to act.
