Gov Uzodinma Reveals Who The Unknown Gunmen Are

The progress of my administration has largely been a product of the massive support by Imolites and I would ensure they are not disappointed by my actions. In recent times, we have witnessed imbalance in the peaceful atmosphere we had *restored* in the State, as the hoodlums have relaunched attacks on public institutions, lives and properties of Imolites.

It has become obvious, the deceptive practice by these hoodlums, hiding under the identity of IPOB to perpetrate these heinous crimes while IPOB innocently struggle to exonerate themselves. While our approach in the fight might seem time-consuming, we are conscious of the need to avert casualties but be rest assured, that my administration is committed towards peace and tranquility in the State and we will achieve this in no distant time.

Disturbingly, I have observed the continued practice of land grabbing across the State by some people under different guises. Let me state unequivocally that, apart from Government agencies and institutions, I have not allotted any land to any individual since I assumed office as the Executive Governor of our Imo State.

I have therefore, directed the State Ministry of Lands, Survery and Physical Planning, as well as the Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA), to forthwith exercise their authority in restoration of sanity in that regard.

We must sustain and improve on the State Design Masterplan while sustaining a peaceful atmosphere for development to thrive.
