Grassroot boxing talent hunt moved down to some parts of Enugu East
The Nigeria Ex International Boxer and Abia State Ambassador for sports in boxing, Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo visited Ugwogo Community Enugu East LGA rural Community Enugu State for grassroot boxing talent hunt.
The boxing talent hunt which took event on 1st February, 2022, resulted in the discovering of 17 able bodied youths.
In a short interview with Chrysora Media, the Principal of Community secondary school Ugwogo Nike Chief Ikpa John applauded the effort of team Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo for grassroot boxing talent hunt exercise in rural Communities of Enugu State South Eastern Nigeria.
He further thanked Enugu State governor Mr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Enugu state House of Assembly and Algon Enugu State Chapter for partnership with Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo the Sports Ambassador in seeing that the students were given opportunity to showcase their talents in the field of Boxing as a Sports.
