Grassroot Boxing Talent Hunt: Even girls can do better – Ex International Boxer

The Nigeria Ex International Boxer, Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo has expressed his faith in girls’ boxing talent skills.
During his grassroot boxing talent hunt exercise, in the 17 LGAs in Enugu, Mazi Okoronkwo met with girls with unquestionable skills which led him to encouraging parents not to underestimate the powers of female children, stressing that they could even do better than the male children.
During his usual training in Coal Camp, Enugu, Mazi Ikechukwu met Miracle Ogenyi a student whom was among talented boxers discovered from Coal camp Secondary School Ogbete Enugu during ongoing 17 LGA grassroot boxing talent hunt exercise in Enugu State who through the influence of Mazi Okoronkwo was allowed to train in Sports Council Boxing Gym for further development.
Speaking to newsmen, he said “The young talented girl trained with us today and from her learning ability she will represent Enugu North LGA during April’s State boxing finals”.
