How Borno State Governor, Prof , Engr. Babagana Umara Zulum sponsored his education, and even became Professor at 48

– He sold firewood in Zulum village and later in Maiduguri during his primary & secondary education.
– He became taxi driver in Maiduguri during his Diploma in Ramat Polytechnic, B.Sc in University of Maiduguri.
– He hawked water in Ibadan while undergoing his M.Sc in University of Ibadan.
– He became Provost of Ramat Polytechnic, and ended without a house.
As Rector of Ramat Polytechnic, he used his car to lift students of school who reside in his area (Kafa biyu – west end – Ramat) in the morning and after working hours, free of charge.
– He became a lecturer in University of Maiduguri, and later appointed a pioneer commissioner of Rehabilitation, Resettlement & Reconstruction by Kashim Shettima but only lived in Government quarters.
The ministry he held had flew of multi billion naira, he surprised his boss with over 375 capital projects.
– today , as a Governor, he has so far achieved over 326 just in one year.
