Isu-Uzo LGA hosts 25 indigenous champions of the Enugu grassroot boxing talent hunt program

Isi-Uzo Local Government under the leadership of Ogbuagu P.N. – Director of Personal Management (DPM) Isi Uzo LGA has hosted a special reception for 25 indigenous students of Isi-Uzo LGA, who were discovered at the 7th Edition of Speaker Enugu State House of Assembly Grassroots Boxing Talent Hunt exercise coordinated by Mazi Comr. Ikechukwu Okoronkwo in the 17 LGA,s of Enugu State.

The event took place at the LGA headquarters on Thursday, 12th September as 16 persons out of the 25 indigenes were present while the rest were honored in absence.

The students performed well in the boxing tournament and as a result of their outstanding performance Isi-Uzo LGA came out overall 2nd position in the tournament.

The DPM graciously acknowledged each of the students and the two games masters who accompanied them:
Odo Lawrence Okechukwu – Games Master, CSS Mbu
Onunze Emmanuel – Games Master, CSS Eha-Amufu
The guests were received with _oji_ and delicious meals. The DPM further awarded rewards to the students showing her support and encouraging them to always put in effort to be the best.

Also, Onuora Jeremiah M. the Principal administrative officer to the DPM, showed his appreciation to the student and advised that they do not relent in this endeavor they have begun.
