Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo commends Gov Fubara over appreciating Super Eagles goalkeeper, Nwabali

The Nigeria ex international boxer and Sports Ambassador, Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo has commended the governor of River State, Gov Fubara for appreciating the Super Eagles goalkeeper,Nwabali and also rewarding him with the cash price of N20m.

In another article, Mr Nwabali was given a Chieftaincy title in Egbema in River State.

In reaction, Mazi Okorokwo, well pleased by these actions commended the government of River State. Maintaining that when this type of appreciation is maintained, other youths would want to imitate thereby moving away from crimes and engaging into meaningful things.

Mazi Okorokwo urged all governors, LGA chairmen especially those in the South-East to wake up to this type of encouragement and also encourage grassroot sports in their local areas to give rise to developing talents.
