A mum let a grown man sleep in her teenage daughter’s bed, perform $3x acts with her and supply her with cannabis.

The then 26-year-old North Queensland man committed offences against the 14-year-old and another 13-year-old girl during a five-and-a-half month period, according to police.

The now 27-year-old father-of-two pleaded guilty to 29 charges involving two minors and one charge of assaulting a police officer at Cairns Supreme Court on Tuesday.

Prosecutor Clayton Willis told the court that the man committed offences against two girls aged 13 and 14, the Cairns Post reported.

Charges against the man involved 13 separate incidents which included indecent images that were shared through mobile phones.

Other charges included grooming, creating child exploitation material, grooming a child or parent to procure a child to engage in a $3x act, and supplying dangerous drugs to minors.

He was also charged with assaulting a police officer.

Mr Willis told the court that the man continued calling one girl after he had been charged with grooming.
