Nigeria Ex Int'l Boxer Calls On FG To Reopen Regular Sports Activities

Nigeria Ex International Boxer Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo call on PTF/President Buhari GCFR to reopen Regular Sports (Active Athletes Training) activities in the country to balance the Fight against Covid 19 pandemic.
Nigerians are not happy that it was only Non contact recreational Sports that was reopened in the country during last phase of ease of lockdown broadcast by PTF.
Nigerians want PTF to recommend to Mr President the reopening of both active Contact and Non contact Sports in line with NCDC guidelines so to create the window for Nigerians to resume training for 2021 Olympics Game s and other Line up international Sporting for 2021 Calendar.
However, The World Sporting games Festival called Olympics Games which date have been fixed from Fri, 23 Jul 2021 – Sun, 8 August 2021 is enough cogent reason for reopening of active Sporting for Men and women Contact Sports and Non- contact Sports under NCDC guidelines at least by early September 2020 by the PTF/ FGN
There are preparation for qualification series especially for Contact Sports like Boxing and others. Therefore athletes/Sports personality must compete through Africa Olympics qualification series before July Olympics games to reduce the number of participants.
The preparation of above elimination start Eight or Nine Months before the main Olympics Games.
Other Africa countries have started to prepare for this event so to dominate the contact Sports.
It is very necessary for Nigeria to start Active preparation by September 2020.
The above fact should be handled more than WAEC issue in advance level
It will be acceptable to Nigerians and the World at Large, If PTF and the President form opinion in line with reopening of Active Sporting activities that is Contact and Non contact Sports for Olympics preparation.
So that Nigeria Sports men and women will not suffer the setback and hard time Exit classes Students are suffering in on going WAEC Examination to Olympics Games.
Because International Body are the determinant of those dates and schedule and not National bodies.
Therefore I urge PTF to recommend to President Buhari GCFR to Include the reopening of active sports for improvement of our unity peace, Economy, Security,Youth,image projection, Olympics Games among others in next President Broadcast of ease of Lockdown of Covid 19
Nigeria is in the hands of God
