There should be concious and deliberate efforts to develop the sports industry in Nigeria.
Government should create the enabling environment for private sectors to leverage on in other to make it happen and was achieved in the movie and comedy Industry in the last administration.
Stakeholders in the sports industry should endeavor to develop our local sports industry with emphasis on youth development in other to our teeming unemployed youth out of the streets as such energy’s Chanelled towards social vices could be transferred appropriately to sports as it done in developed and developing countries.
Sports development as panacea to Nigerian economic and social development, All tribes should jettison gangsterism in the management of sports especially NFF,NBF, ATHLETICS FEDERATION and other bodies of sports management as witnessed in the Wrestling aspect in Nigeria.
Club owners and those that are creative with passion in their sports should be carried along and not maltreated for political, ethic and religious sentiments.
All forms of sentiment should be discarded as competency should be given priority.
Celebrities in the industry should be sincerely consulted for assistance, Most of stadium lack the necessary sports facilities and it should not be so,due to the fact that stadium are meant to be very busy for sports development,Abuja stadium and major Stadium in various State across the nation is only during matches that it is useful due to the fact that there are no equipments and sports facilities in the area, but just pitch, Grass Root sports is the way forward and school sports competitions should be encouraged as it is done in other countries .
Most NIGERIA Local and state government’s are not encouraging sports development and that is the only way to get it right if we must develop sports for sure, School without proper sports facilities should be ask to do so especially, the private schools should be encouraged to lay emphasis in Health and physical Education.
