Nsukka Students Show Much Interest In Boxing Talent Hunts Exercise

Nsukka youths have shown much interest in the boxing talent hunt exercise conducted by the Ex international boxer, Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo.

The exercise which was conducted by the Abia state Ambassador for Sports, Mazi Okoronkwo on Tuesday, 25th January, 2022, took event at Anglican grammar school, Nsukka also known as Nsukka high school, Nsukka.

Recall that Mazi Okoronkwo has concluded, boxing talent hunt for 2021, but to make sure that all the communities in Enugu are fully represented, he opened the hunting exercise again which according to him will not last long.

In a short interview with Ven Dr Moses Ifeanyieze after the boxing talent hunt, he expressed gratitude to God for sending Mazi Okoronkwo to Nsukka high school, Nsukka where he serves as the school principal.

Speaking further, he said that this era is not the one in which education will provide everything, in this era, youths need skills which will help in their development in life and one of the medium for self development is through boxing.

He concluded by begging parents to support their children those that picked interest in boxing.

Furthermore, Mrs Onugwu MaryAnn the Physical and Health Education teacher in Nsukka high school who witnessed the boxing event commended team Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo for a professional grassroot boxing talent hunt exercise being conducted.

Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo being overwhelmed with fulfillment and gladness, gave glory to God for a successful event. “It has ended in praise” He said.
