The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) chieftain, Hon. Benedict Sunday Nwasah said all his efforts and contributions towards seeing Governor Soludo emerged in the 2021 Anambra Governorship election was not rewarded or recognized in anyway.

Briefing Newsmen in Awka, the visibly sad Honourable Nwasah emphasized that he spent so much while mobilising support for Soludo and the party APGA in his domain, stating that he contested the last Transition Committee Chairmanship election and came second, adding that he was more than qualified to be the Chairman of Anambra West Local Government Area.

According to him, he spent so much money on mobilisation, sponsored series of meetings and did everything within his powers to ensure the then APGA’s Candidate, Professor Chukwuma Soludo’s emergence.

‘I did all these with my money. I was at the forefront of the campaign. I moved round my place preaching and politicking. I took a lot of risk. I worked tirelessly for the Governor and the party. Our efforts with then SA Market Affairs to see that Market people believe in Soludo, and voted him.Those who worked should be appreciated and motivated.

Benedict Sunday Nwasah is from Ward II Umueze Anam, Anambra West, a grassroots mobilizer, NPN solidarity youth leader and man of his people.
