Opinion: Hushpuppi, Kyari: The same fate awaits Obiano

Just like the FBI busted Hushpuppi and sent him to prison, and indicted the “super cop” turned tailor and courier man, the same fate awaits Gov. Willie Obiano when his immunity expires in few months to come.

It’s no longer news that Gov. Obiano has looted Anambra state dry. This is the man who inherited over 75 billion naira in the coffers of the state and a debt free Anambra, but has plunged it into over 200 billion naira debt and counting. Contractors are owed over 100 billion naira, and retirees have not been paid their gratuity since 2017.

A man who takes home 1.5 billion naira as security vote monthly, and whose wife take home 250 million naira of our common patrimony.

Gov. Obiano (Hushpuppi) and his accomplices (Kyaris) must account for all the monies they have looted from our state. It won’t be long anymore, just matter of months.
