President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant on Digital
Communication, Bashir Ahmad, has said the North will never support Peter Obi,
the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
Ahmad said Obi has never missed an opportunity to show his
dislike for the North.
He was reacting to Obi’s tweet.
Obi had tweeted: “Beyond regaining our mandate, I am
committed to lifting people out of poverty and I remain committed to
transforming Nigeria starting from the North to every part of the nation.”
Responding, Ahmad criticised Obi for using the North to represent
the poverty rate in the country, adding that his action has shown his dislike
for the region.
Tweeting, Ahmad wrote: “Yep. It’s undeniable Mr Obi doesn’t
like us. He never misses an opportunity to show that, during his time as a
governor, when he was contesting and now as the former presidential candidate.
“So we are only reciprocating, and if he runs 1000 times, we
will reject him 1000 times.”
unfortunately our campaign in the north shows a different narrative from ur deceitful position. Northern people are tired of the lies and deciet of their leaders and they are ready to embrace good government irrespective of tribe and religion. They are aware that north has been in charge of Nigeria since 1966 yet it remain the most economically and educationally backward region.They are no longer stooges that don’t know their right. To prove u further wrong let ur leader allow a free and fair election and u will be shocked that none of your so called norther leaders will win his ward. However it’s a matter of time and very soon u all will be exposed. Go mark my word UNTIL AN IGBO MAN SUPPORTED BY IGBOS( not the likes of Rochas,Orji uzo kalu or hope uzodimma etc) RULES NIGERIA, WE ALL WILL REMAIN IN DARKNESS,IMPOVERISHED AND UNDERDEVELOPED. That’s how nature has made it.It has nothing to do with bigotry.
