The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FIB) is investigating the death of a black man who died after a Police Officer knelt on his neck at Minnesota.
According to BBC the police officers were caught perpetrating the act in a 10-minute footage filmed by an eyewitness on Monday.


The man laid on the ground in the video clip was heard shouting “I can’t breath, don’t kill me”
The police officers admitted to the incident but said the man died after “police interaction “
The eyewitness reportedly urged the police officer to take off his knees from the man’s neck after it appears that the man was no longer moving.

Giving their account police said the man was under influence when the officers approached him.
“The man refused to step aside from the vehicle he was sitting on after he was ordered to do so, thereby “physically resisting arrest “.
The Officers were able to get the suspect handcuffed and noted it appears he is suffering from medical distress”, the police officer said.


There was no weapons used on him during the incident and the body has been handed over to Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for investigation, police said.
Reacting to the incident Jacob Frey Minneapolis Mayor said being a black in US is not a death sentence.
“I believe what I saw and what I saw is wrong on every on all levels and being black in America is shouldn’t be a death sentence”
The US Federal Bureau of Investigation is carrying out Investigation on the matter. Meanwhile the four Police Officers involved have been suspended.
