Student Of Oko Polytechnic Commits Suicide Over School Hardship
A Federal Poly Student OKO, Commits Suicide In His Room, At Green Lodge, By Hanging Himself, After Facing Hardship.
According To Reports, The Male Student Who is ND 1 Level In The School, has allegedly Ended His own life.
As at the time of filing this Report, his reason for committing suicide is still undefined.
Though so many students of the institution have lamented of incessant hardship and stress they go through everyday especially from the lecturers, sex for grades, buying of unnecessary textbooks simply because it belongs to the lecturer and failing if you fail to buy, open threat of failure declared by some lecturers if one refused to sort their courses, high cost of living, E.T.C.
This is not the first time this suicide issue is happening since this year.
Chrysora Media hereby calls on the management of the School to look deep into these issues to help students not to nurture the thought of committing suicide because of these issues.
