Update On The Sealing Of Uzu-Awka Palace
AIF Media has just been informed that the battle has gotten to the presidency. Those who are in support of HRH Austin Ndigwe, Uzu Awka have moved in their contacts to get the military and Police hierarchy to withdraw the armed men who took over the palace.
Information from a source said that the Ukpo billionaire has pulled out of the struggle but that the state govt is insisting that Uzu-Awka will not hold the new yam festival.
According to the source, the state govt said Uzu-Awka is not the Igwe of Awka community and can not be allowed to hold such event.
This is the situation now.
The security agencies are no longer shooting sporadically to scare the would-be visitors to the occasion.
